Student microscopes take more wear than any other scopes we see: dropped objectives, cross-threaded eyepieces, missing parts, and years of fingerprints. Sky Optical Services services teaching microscopes by the room, so every student station is working when the next semester starts.

Many schools schedule service during summer or winter break so classrooms are ready for the new term. We provide an inventory of every instrument serviced, which also helps with asset tracking.

We serve schools, districts, colleges, and universities across Greater Houston, including Houston, the Texas Medical Center, Sugar Land, Katy, Cypress, The Woodlands, Pearland, Pasadena, Clear Lake, and Baytown. We are a registered supplier with the City of Houston and Harris County.

Do you service a whole classroom of microscopes at once?
Yes. We service student microscopes by the room or by the building and provide a list of every instrument serviced and anything that needs repair.
When is the best time to schedule school microscope service?

Can you replace microscopes that are not worth repairing?
Yes. As an Authorized Labomed Dealer we can supply new student and lab microscopes.
