IVF and Fertility Lab Microscope Service in Houston

Preventive maintenance and alignment for inverted ICSI microscopes and stereo workstations, scheduled around your procedure days.

Sky Optical Services · (832) 819-1104 · support@skyopticalservices.com

An IVF lab runs on a fixed clock, and the microscopes are part of every step. When a Hoffman slit drifts off the gray band or a DIC prism goes out of match, embryo grading and ICSI get harder fast. Sky Optical Services keeps fertility lab optics aligned and clean, and plans every visit around retrieval and transfer days.

What we cover

Inverted ICSI microscopesFull preventive maintenance, Köhler alignment, Hoffman slit alignment on every objective, and a DIC check where installed.
Stereo workstationsPreventive maintenance for stereo microscopes in heated workstations and laminar flow hoods.
Embryo-safe cleaningWe follow your lab's cleaning and VOC policy and use only the agents your lab approves.
Repairs between visitsAlignment and repair when something isn't looking right, scheduled to protect your procedure days.

What stays with the manufacturer

Micromanipulators, injectors, laser objectives, and time-lapse incubators are serviced by their manufacturers. Heated stage temperature verification is part of your lab's own QC. We focus on the optics.

Hospital fertility labs

More hospitals now run their own fertility and embryology labs. For hospital biomedical teams, we also offer training on Hoffman and DIC setup alongside our standard biomedical PM training.

Where we work

We serve fertility clinics and hospital embryology labs across Greater Houston, including Houston, the Texas Medical Center, Sugar Land, Katy, Cypress, The Woodlands, Pearland, Pasadena, Clear Lake, and Baytown.

Common questions

Do you align Hoffman modulation contrast?

Yes. We center the slit for every Hoffman objective and check that each objective is matched to the correct condenser position.

Do you service DIC on inverted microscopes?

Yes. We check polarizer and analyzer extinction, prism matching for each objective, and the bias adjustment.

Will your cleaning products affect our embryos?

We follow your lab's cleaning and VOC policy, use only agents your lab approves, and never clean with solvents while cultures are out of the incubator.

Do you service micromanipulators or laser objectives?

No. Micromanipulators, injectors, laser objectives, and time-lapse incubators should be serviced by their manufacturers.

Send your equipment list (make, model, and quantity) for a quote, or tell us what a specific microscope is doing and we'll schedule an evaluation.
