Most labs know their microscopes need yearly maintenance, but scheduling it one visit at a time is easy to let slip, and a scope always seems to fail the week it is needed most. A Sky Optical Services service agreement puts every microscope in your lab on a yearly preventive maintenance plan, with priority when something goes wrong in between.

What the agreement includes

Annual preventive maintenanceA full PM on every microscope listed in the agreement once a year, including the service call for that visit.
Priority schedulingService requests under the agreement go to the front of the line, with an agreed response time.
Phone and email supportQuestions answered by the technician who services your scopes, including advice for your in-house team.

Who it is for

Agreements suit any lab that depends on its microscopes every day: hospital and clinical labs, pathology and cytology, veterinary clinics, schools and colleges with classroom sets, and testing and quality control labs. They also suit hospitals with an in-house biomedical team. Your team handles routine care between visits, and we handle the yearly PM and anything beyond routine. Agreement customers also receive a discount on our Biomedical Team Training.

How it works

STEP 1

Send your equipment list: make, model, quantity, and room for each microscope.

STEP 2

We quote an annual fee for that lab, priced per microscope by type.

STEP 3

Sign the agreement and we schedule the yearly PM around your workload.

STEP 4

Call or email anytime during the year for priority service.

Each lab or site gets its own equipment list and its own agreement, so the schedule fits the way that lab works.

An agreement is not required. Many customers prefer to book preventive maintenance and repairs as needed, quoted visit by visit with no term or commitment. An agreement simply adds predictable yearly pricing, priority scheduling, and agreement rates on repairs.

Where we work

We provide on-site service across Greater Houston, including Houston, the Texas Medical Center, Sugar Land, Katy, Cypress, The Woodlands, Pearland, Pasadena, Clear Lake, and Baytown. Regional visits elsewhere on the Texas Gulf Coast are available by arrangement.
