That includes upright clinical and teaching microscopes, inverted microscopes, stereo microscopes, phase contrast, fluorescence, and polarizing microscopes, slit lamps, colposcopes, dental operating microscopes, and digital microscopes. Our technician holds Nikon Repair Training certification. Sky Optical Services is also an Authorized Labomed Dealer when a scope is better replaced than repaired.
Repair or replace?
Every repair starts with a diagnosis and a quote, and nothing is repaired until you approve it. If a microscope would cost more to fix than it is worth, we tell you, and we can quote a replacement instead.
Where we work
We provide on-site service across Greater Houston, including Houston, the Texas Medical Center, Sugar Land, Katy, Cypress, The Woodlands, Pearland, Pasadena, Clear Lake, and Baytown. Regional visits elsewhere on the Texas Gulf Coast are available by arrangement, and instruments can also be shipped to us for repair.

If one instrument has a specific problem, we can schedule an evaluation visit to diagnose it before any repair is quoted. Labs that want every scope covered each year can also look at a microscope service agreement.

Can you provide vendor paperwork?
Yes. We are fully insured and can provide a certificate of insurance and W-9 for your vendor file. We are a registered supplier with the City of Houston and Harris County.
